Hearth Family Farm Day

Bring your family and join us at Hearth Family Farm Day, Sunday, August 22nd! August is high harvest season and a magical time to meet the farm in all its beauty and productivity.

Sarah, Luke and farm friends will lead a tasting tour of Hearth Farm, the ground that grows the Grange’s produce and pork. Your kids and you will go on Hearth’s scavenger hunt to find and eat roots, stems, leaves, flowers, fruits and seeds. Keep your eyes open—farm explorations always yield something amazing, maybe a frog, a magical purple bean, a cool bug, or your new favorite flavored leaf!

U-Pick will be available: guests are invited to pick zinnias, beans, basil and other produce for purchase.

Then head over (bike or walk on the Snoqualmie Trail, or drive on 203) to The Grange to witness those raw farm ingredients turn into delightful dishes by Chef Marcus! Your Grange-inspired family farm meals awaits. The Grange and Hearth Farm are connected by the Snoqualmie trail, approximately 3 miles apart. Guests are welcome to bring their bikes or walk on this beautiful trail from farm to table!

Sunday, August 22nd. Farm tour and dinner: $35 per person. Drinks and gratuity not included.

Farm Tour—3-4pm; U-pick and open farm time 4-5pm. Participating families are then invited to a sumptuous and seasonal family-style meal at The Grange made from Hearth Farm’s harvest any time between 5-8 pm.
