She writes emotional\, rhythmically stirring songs and delivers them with genuine passion and is a gifted singer and songwriter.” Sheryl began her music life in the PNW\, eventually landing in Seattle’s burgeoning early ’90’s scene where her band Somebody’s Daughter gained acclaim with their unique alt-folk/alt-country sound\, despite the surging popularity of grunge at the time.  In addition to opening for many touring artists including Crash Test Dummies\, Luka Bloom\, Tori Amos and others\, the band also performed regularly on the college\, club and festival circuit including regular appearances at Bumbershoot and Northwest Folklife.  In 1994\, Sheryl became a solo artist\, playing The Bitter End and Sin-é in New York City while continuing to open for touring artists including Peter Himmelman\, Dan Fogelberg\, Jill Sobule and Patty Larkin. In 1996\, she released her debut CD\, Month of Saints which garnered rave reviews and an opportunity to audition as a vocalist for Cirque du Soleil. After graduating from college and fighting forest fires\, she settled in Seattle and started playing the open mic circuit. It was finally after seeing mutual friend Brandi Carlile play that she made the decision to form a band and start recording\, releasing her first CD “Perfect Chaos.” From then on\, Sue has performed at many of Seattle’s most venerable music venues\, such as the Tractor Tavern\, Conor Byrnes\,The Showbox\, Sunset Tavern\,The Crocodile and in several festivals and showcases including  SXSW\, Viper Room\, NYC’s famed Bitter End\, and a  showcase in Nashville. Sue has also performed for 6000 Seattle Storm fans at center court\, a definite career highlight!! Throughout the 90’s she could be seen performing with “3 Track Mind”\, a folk-pop band that featured astounding three-part harmony and original songs by the three songwriters (Kevin Jones\, Jen Todd & herself and amazing percussion by Kristy’s then-boyfriend\, now husband Steve Smith. In addition to opening for Joan Baez and Roseanne Cash\, other successes included performing in Mare Winningham’s band in the Movie “Georgia” which also starred Jennifer Jason-Lee. 3 Track Mind recorded two stellar CD’s: Mighty Big Therapy and Living Room. In addition\, Kristy’s award winning band “Billy Moon” was signed to the short-lived Samson Record label by Michael Shrieve (original drummer for Santana)\, just long enough to make their first CD Storm Before the Calm. Billy Moon opened for Crash Test Dummies\, Little Feat and Bernie Taupin and performed on the second stage at the Gorge for concerts by Sting\, the Dave Matthews Band\, Bonnie Raitt\, and Bob Dylan.   In addition to many opening act performances Kristy co-wrote a song “Falling for Me” that appeared in the motion picture “Driven” which starred Sylvester Stallone and Burt Reynolds. Babes in arms are free\, with all others needing a ticket.\n\nBuddy Do-Wrong & the Ne’er-Do-Wells is an outlaw country style acoustic trio of friends who are more like family.\n\nStarted by Buddy Do-Wrong (Guitar/Vocals: Andrew Goodman) and Janglefoot (Percussion/Vocals: Dani Rad) during the 2020 Covid-19 lockdown to find socially distanced ways to make music. As venues began welcoming customers back for outdoor seating\, the duo launched a tour of local beer gardens where they found a receptive audience\, hungry and grateful for live music.\n\nPlaying acoustic versions of original songs from their previous bands\, they started adding covers of their favorite songs from all genres and decades. Soon the duo realized that to really do justice to the music\, they would need to add another sound — in the form of  cello! Enter long time friend of the duo: Bowcephus! (Cello/Vocals: Maia Hollander)\n\nIn so many ways\, this band is a dream come true for all members\, and we are so glad to be able to share our love of music with audiences everywhere!
